In response to the increase in postpartum separation that I'm seeing as a result of COVID-19 and the resulting increases in postpartum mood disoreders, trauma, and lactation difficulties, I've developed a new service that I'm excited to offer to families in Minneapolis and St. Paul communities.

For families who experienced a traumatic birth experience or separation after birth that is affecting lactation and parent-child bonding, causing lactation issues, especially non-latching baby, and/or are experiencing postpartum mood disorders and post-traumatic stress due to the birth experience. This session includes a full lactation assessment, as well as a guided rebirthing that includes co-bathing and a period of skin-to-skin contact that will mimic the experience of gentle birth for you and your infant, healing trauma and leading to improvements in bonding and breastfeeding/chestfeeding.
