My Training and Experience
I became a nursing parent in 2013 and, through my personal challenges, became passionate about evidence-based lactation support. I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2018.
I hold a BA in Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies from the University of Minnesota. My previous work includes roles as a La Leche League Leader and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Administrator for LLL of Minnesota and the Dakotas. I am currently serving as a Lactation Specialist for St. Paul- Ramsey County Public Health.
I am an allied provider in perinatal mental health at Pregnancy and Postpartum Support MN. Click here-

I am available for speaking engagements on a variety of topics including: breastfeeding, chestfeeding, queer and transgender inclusion in the lactation field; supporting parents with gender dysphoria; informed consent in lactation support; and supporting breastfeeding parents who are trauma survivors. I have presented at conferences held by La Leche League, iLactation, the Breastfeeding and Feminism International Conference, Gold Lactation, the Queer Birth Project, the Minnesota Department of Health, and the Minnesota Breastfeeding Coalition.
